Water Management
In our commitment to maintaining a thriving and balanced aquatic ecosystem, we adhere to a comprehensive lake management plan developed by industry experts. This meticulously crafted plan guides our efforts to preserve the health of our lake. One key aspect involves the strategic addition of limestone dust to regulate and balance the pH levels of the water, promoting optimal conditions for aquatic life. This proactive measure is essential in ensuring the well-being of the lake's flora and fauna.
Moreover, we have implemented a catch and release policy as part of our sustainable fishing practices. This policy encourages responsible angling, allowing visitors to enjoy the recreational activity while minimizing the impact on the fish population. PennDOT’s Adopt-A-Highway Program
We have established partnership with the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation's Adopt-a-Highway program to actively contribute to the upkeep of Dinner Bell Road. Through this collaboration, our dedicated team of volunteers engage in regular litter cleanup initiatives, ensuring that the road remains free of debris and presents a clean and welcoming environment for both our community and passersby. By participating in the Adopt-a-Highway program, we not only demonstrate our commitment to environmental stewardship but also actively contribute to the overall beautification and preservation of our local surroundings. Forest Management
