Director
Tony has deep ties in Scouting. Having entered the program as a Cub Scout at a young age, he climbed through the ranks to achieve Scouting’s highest honor, the rank of Eagle Scout. While in the program as a youth, Tony spent most of his summers at Heritage Reservation. His professional career with Scouting began during his college years when he joined the Camp Guyasuta staff as an Assistant Ranger, a position he held until 2007 when he assumed the role of full time Ranger at Camp Twin Echo, a former Laurel Highlands Council camp that was in Ligonier, PA.
Tony’s journey at Heritage Reservation began in 2019, when he was promoted to Council Construction Manager. He oversaw numerous projects in that role, notably the construction of 3 modern shower facilities. In 2020, he assumed the role of Head Ranger, a position he held until 2023 when he was promoted to Director of Heritage Reservation.
In his free time, Tony enjoys thrifting, yard sales, and spending time with his son, Anthony, and dog, Ranger. Tony is grateful every day he has the opportunity to help instill the values of Scouting in today's youth.

Camp Ranger
Dave joined Scouting at age 11 and camped at Heritage Reservation for first time that summer. Much like John Denver’s song Rocky Mountain high, for Dave, it was like “coming home to a place he’d never been before”. He began his journey on camp staff as a Counselor in Training, working every summer until 2012 until he began his professional career with scouting as a full time Ranger at Heritage Reservation. A second-generation Eagle Scout, avid camper, and a passion for learning and fixing things, made the job a perfect fit for Dave.
Dave recently took on the job of leading the maintenance department at Heritage. His favorite trade skill is electrical work, but he is seen throughout every aspect of maintenance and construction in the camp.
When not at work, Dave prioritizes maintaining deep bonds with friends, photography, and hikes with his girlfriend, Hannah, and dog, Clyde.

Director of Summer Camp Operations
Dylan is extremely honored and proud to serve as the Camp Director for our summer programs at Heritage Reservation. He began camping here as a Webelo in the mid-2000’s. The people, property, and program made such a strong impact on him during his formative years, that he stuck around and served on camp staff for many summers during his youth. He achieved the rank of Eagle Scout and eventually worked toward the position of Camp Director. When not at camp, Dylan works with college students to produce sports television for a small university in Pittsburgh, PA. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Software Engineering from Robert Morris University. In his free time, his hobbies include backpacking, canoeing, and doing whatever he can to help the people around him succeed.

Camp Ranger
Blake joined our Ranger team full time in 2024, after having worked part time the year prior. He grew up in the Scouting program in central Maryland with the Mason-Dixon council, where he achieved the rank of Eagle Scout. Shortly after graduating high school, Blake moved to the Laurel Highlands, to work as a whitewater rafting guide on the Youghiogheny River. This move eventually reconnected him with Scouting and introduced him to Heritage Reservation. When not at work, Blake enjoys rafting, kayaking, hunting, and fishing. He is very excited to continue his Scouting journey and looks forward to seeing you at Heritage Reservation!
